San Diego

I am at San Diego at present with Erik, visiting his place. Took a 3 day off from office. Drove down to San Diego on 19th night. We are staying at Patti's(Erik's aunt) place. She has got an awesome place, she has decorated the house with all sorts of paintings, snaps, etc. The walls are fully covered with them.

On 20th we hooked up with Tad(Erik's dad) and Carson(Erik's brother - He looks like Matthew McConaughey put on some weight. ) went to Del Mar for the opening day of the horse races :-). We watched 8 of 9 races and we sure did some betting ;-). I made about 50$ and lost about 40$, Tad made about 60$ and Erik made about 80$. It was fun there, the place was crawling with people(beautiful people :-)). End of the day we went to the Del Mar plaza to have our dinner, that too was crowded with people coming back from the races. Then hung around there for quite a while, and then left for a bar around the corner. It was amazing to see how much Erik and Tad drank that day. Since i don't drink alcohol; i had settled for Non-Alcholic Beer. We went back home and crashed to bed by 11 in the night i guess.

I woke up at 9:30 in the morning in guess, freshended up. We went to have breakfast along with patti. Dropped her back at home and left for the Del Mar beach; went swimming in the sea, roamed around the beach for a while. Had our lunch at Roberto's and went to the Torrui Pines gliding school to watch the people doing paragliding. The winds were slow though and lot people there had trouble getting up in the air, we couldn't see anyone get on the air :-(. Then went back to the city to watch Tad play the basket ball game, they lost by about 12 points i guess. Get back to tad's place, i am blogging from there right now. Tad is taking us for dinner tonight.
